Our Officers
Meet the geeks that run this team!

Laura Bopp
Forensics Coach/Sponsor
Ms. Bopp is the coach of Clarksburg Forensics and a judge in the Montgomery County Forensics League. (So basically, she's seen it all.) Other than being an absolute queen, Ms. Bopp is also one of the Honors English 9 & 10 starting last year. In high school, she was a theatre kid. In her free time, she likes to read all kinds of plays and poetry!

Maddie Sebastian
Co-Captain
Maddie is a senior and both sad and excited to start her fourth and final year with Clarksburg Forensics! In 2019, she placed fourth in Dramatic Interpretation and Prose Interpretation, and second and fourth place in Ensemble Acting with "Funeral Parlor" and "The Best Daddy" (with Trent Rasmussen). She is also a recipient of the 2020 Michael D'Anna Excellence Award for her qualifications in Drama, Prose, Humor, Children's Lit, and Ensemble Acting, and placed third in Ensemble Acting with "Geniuses" (with Trent Rasmussen). Outside of Forensics, Maddie is an avid theatre and chorus geek. Shreya Jha
Co-Captain
Shreya is a senior at CHS and is feeling bittersweet about her fourth and final year with Clarksburg Forensics! In the 2018 season, she brought home Clarksburg Forensics's first-ever first place trophy for her role in "The Jumpers" (with Anindita Mullick). In 2019, Shreya placed fifth and sixth place in Humorous Interpretation and Poetry Interpretation. Last year, she placed fifth in Persuasive Writing and sixth place in Readers' Theatre for her performance as Jenny in "Let's Pretend this Never Happened" (with Fiona Rizvi). Shreya is also a member of CHS's Robotics Team and Film Club. Follow her on Instagram at @shcryajha!
